Independent Ohio Truck Stop Now Offers TRANSFLO Express®

Dogwood Crossing Travel Center Responds to Driver Requests

(Dec. 1, 2009) Pegasus TransTech announced that Dogwood Crossing Travel Center in Carroll, Ohio, now offers the TRANSFLO Express® truck stop scanning solution from Pegasus TransTech. By providing same-day delivery of shipping documents to carriers, truck stop scanning from TRANSFLO Express speeds carrier billing and driver settlement, reducing DSO and increasing driver retention.

“We decided to offer TRANSFLO Express because so many drivers were asking for it,” said Dick Kilbarger, owner of Dogwood Crossing Travel Center, an independent operator. It’s located just outside Lancaster, Ohio, along U.S. Rt. 33, one of the eight busiest truck routes in Ohio. Approximately 1,700 trucks a day use Rt. 33, a main conduit between Columbus, Ohio, and West Virginia where Rt. 33 connects with I-77 and I-64 and points south.

Dogwood Crossing joins 31 other TRANSFLO Express travel plazas that are independently owned or belong to regional chains. TRANSFLO Express is available at more than 540 truck stop locations nationwide including all Pilot and Love’s travel centers.

With TRANSFLO Express, drivers simply hand their delivery documents to a trained fuel desk attendant. In seconds, these documents are sent electronically to the broker or fleet for immediate billing and payroll processing. TRANSFLO Express expedites document delivery and allows brokers, fleets, and drivers to get paid faster.
